Brotherhood

Brotherhood in Phi Kappa Tau goes far beyond sharing living quarters or being in the same club. The brotherhood is a "lifelong relationship and commitment"

Learning

Learning through academic excellence and continuous personal development. It is an expectation that members maintain minimum GPA standards and participate in required scholarship programs to ensure academic success.

Ethical Leadership

We want "To be recognized as a leadership organization that binds men together and challenges them to improve their campuses and the world". Ethical leadership means demonstrating honesty, integrity, and a willingness to step up and do the right thing. It is a challenge to set the standard for what a fraternity man should look like within the broader university community.

Exemplary Character

Exemplary character is defined as being a "good and loyal citizen" and striving "always to discharge the obligation to others which arises from the fact that I am a fraternity man". It means taking pride in being a man of respect and integrity, and actively working on one's character every single day.
