Welcome to the alumni page, My name is Ben Billo, and I'm honored to serve as your Vice President of Alumni Relations for 2025. I'm from Grand Rapids, Michigan, and I'm currently co-majoring in Business Analytics and International Business, with a minor in Sports Management.
One of my primary goals this year is to improve alumni communication. To achieve this, I'll be publishing a Beta Theta Newsletter for each full month that we're in school. My aim is to keep you informed and engaged with the chapter's activities.

Our Story
The mission of Phi Kappa Tau is to champion a lifelong commitment to brotherhood, learning, ethical leadership and exemplary character.
In the Fall of 2018 our National organization reestablished the Beta Theta chapter at KU. Since then the members have embraced the challenge of growing the brotherhood from scratch to the chapter it is today. This could not have been possible without the support of the National organization and several key Graduate Council (GC) alumni who volunteer their time.
Hundreds of alumni make up the Graduate Council at the University of Kansas. The purpose of the GC is to promote the mission of Phi Kappa Tau among graduated members and support the Resident Council in Lawrence. A proud tradition dating back to the chapters installation at KU in 1954.

Quarterly Spotlight
Rechartering & Regional Conferences
Beta Theta reached a monumental milestone in the legacy of Phi Kappa Tau at the University of Kansas! We were thrilled to hold the Beta Theta Rechartering Ceremony on February 1 at the Kansas Union. Members and guests donned their coat and tie/dresses to honor our cherished chapter's return, paving the way for a bright future together.
On February 22nd the chapter also hosted the 2025 Heartland Regional Conference for Phi Kappa Tau. Chapters from neighboring states sent representatives and Beta Theta demonstrated why they are an up and coming chapter at KU.
